I Go Ganda, U Go Ganda!

Muli Mutya! (Luganda Hello)
Hello! I hope you are doing well! I wanted to share some exciting news with you! I just partnered with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) to go serve as a nurse to the orphaned, abandoned, & destitute children of Uganda.

God has been cultivating a desire in my heart to go out and spread the Gospel to all nations, tribes, & all people (Romans 10:14-15). He has also given me a great desire to go to orphans and children who are abandoned/ neglected/hurting to share with them the hope we have in Christ so that they too may be able to worship, know, and hope in Him.

I pray that God will use me to further His Kingdom and glorify Him through serving these children. Please ask me more and I would LOVE to share with you!

About the Missions Trip:
When I will go: I will be serving for a year from March 28, 2014 to March 19, 2015.

Where I will be going: I’m going to Buundo, Uganda. It’s a village surrounded by sugar cane fields and other mud hut villages, 25km from Jinja (closest city).

What I will be doing: AIM is sending me to work as a nurse at Good Shepherd’s Fold (GSF), an orphanage that houses about 90 children from babies to 18 years old. I will be working in the clinic that supports GSF’s school and as a nurse for the children at GSF.

God-willing, I will also be able to participate in outreach ministries with GSF and help out with their children’s ministry. I will also live on campus and my hope is to build relationships with the staff, children, and the community through this. My main purpose is not to just provide medical care to these children but for them to know who Jesus is, to disciple and shepherd these children’s hearts so that they would love and hope in Christ and that they may be sent out to further His Kingdom. The nursing skill set I’m bringing is just a bonus.

I Go Ganda, U Go Ganda
What the title means!? I’m partnering with AIM to go to Uganda and if God should lead you I would love if you could partner with me and go to Uganda too! How?!

I covet your prayers! If you could please pray for me that would be GREAT! Pray for my ministry there, for the hearts of the people/children, for my preparation, for my health and safety, for my heart, and for God to be glorified and the Gospel to go out in this nation!

If God should lead you to support me financially, I need to raise $17, 124 by January 15 for living, travel, and ministry expenses.

If you would like to partner with me by receiving updates I would be HAPPY to add you on my list! Please, just let me know!
